Aus den bitterkalten -12 des nächtens, wurden schluderige Null Grad mit Schneeneigung. Schwitzen war inklusive am heutigen Tag.

Wieder frühstückten wir @home, packten unsere Sachen und zogen los! Tunnelbana Sightseeing. Ähnlich wie in Taschkent ist die U- Bahn in Stockholm sehr sehenswert . Aufgrund unserer Weiterreise hatten wir uns für vier, fünf sehenswerte Stationen entschieden, wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Zurück am Hotel blieb noch Zeit für ein Fickabreak im Espresso House….Kanelbullar ( wenigstens eine ist ein Muss) und lecker Cappuccino.

Wir verschlusten noch eine Stunde im Hotel, checkten gegen 13:00 Uhr aus und fuhren per Uber für ganz wenig Kronen zum Fährhafen, der ziemlich außerhalb liegt. Es regnete, 1Grad im Positiven zeigt wohl auch hier das Ende des Winters an.

Viel zu früh waren wir an der Fähre, egal….warm un trocken war es.

Wir hatten uns für Tallink Silja Line entschieden, obwohl die Viking stadtnäher ablegt, aber die älteren Schiffe hat. Bereits im Internet konnte ich erkennen, hier wird der Bautyp der Color Line auf uns warten….so war es dann auch.

Wir hatten uns bei „ Original Carrier of Santa Claus“ 🎅 für eine Außenkabineentschieden, die ganz niedlich daher kam….gemütlich auf jeden Fall.

Bis zum Ablegen hatten wir noch eine Stunde Zeit und erkundeten erstmal das Schiff.

Was bleibt von diesem Tag noch zu berichten? Wir schlemmten uns durch das Grandbuffet am Abend und staunten über die Eisschollen im Stockholmer Hafen, die uns auf der gesamten baltischen See begleiteten.

Vollgenudelt mit Kaviar und Co verdümmpelten wir den Abend mit den olympischen Spielen vor der Glotze.

Noch ganz weit weg von Helsinki zogen wir bereits am frühen Abend ein positives Fazit zur Fähre als Fortbewegungsmittel. Die Hütte war durch die Schulferien in Finnland zwar ausgebucht, da Viele die Verbindung zur Minikreuzfahrt machen, die Restaurantauswahl überzeugte durch und durch. Sowohl Fisch als auch Fleischesser ( bis aufs Roastbeef ließen wir diese Erfahrunf aus) kommen auf ihre Kosten. Das Essen erschien uns innovativer als auf der CM, die Thunfischpoke war zum Niederknien…..

Zufrieden kuschelten wir uns in unser Bett, den Stop in Mariehamm bekamen wir kaum mit. Umso näher wir Helsinki kamen, desto dichter wurde das Schneetreiben und wilder die See.
