Quiberon,Schiffsfriedhof& Saint Cado weiterlesen →]]> Auf nach Quiberon und danach den Romy Schneider Film „ Drei Tage auf Quiberon“. Wir trödelten uns ein wenig durch den Morgen, das Wetter zeigte sich sommerlich freundlich. Die 50 km bis auf die Halbinsel war schnell geschafft, auch der im Reiseführer angezeigte sommerliche Dauerstau war uns gnädig.

Quiberon, die Sonneninsel mit 2000 Sonnenstinden und nur rd. 650mm Regen im Jahr. Die eine Seite rau und felsig, zum Baden ungeeignet, die andere Seite abfallend zum Gold du Morbihan.

Wir verschafften uns lediglich einen kleinen Überblick über die Halbinsel, besuchten die Hauptstadt und waren an einem breiten, schönen Sandstrand sowie am südlichsten Punkt Pointe du Conguel.

Zunächst der Sandstrand Plage de Port Blanc.

Quiberon Hauptstadt:

Die Pointe du Congiuel, der südlichste Punkt von Quiberon begeisterte mit wilder Schönheit, den Wauzis war es egal….die wollten nur eins, Wasser!

Zum späten Nachmittag sagten wir salut, kauften einund kochten in Windeseile Couscous, Merguez und Spieße….lecker.
Unseren letzten Tag in der Bretagne ließen wir aufgrund der sommerlichen Temperaturen ruhig angehen, Vormittags gabs es Fellwuselprogramm, zwei glückliche kleine Racker zerlegten den Strand. Yuna übte sich am Seepferdchen, Emily spielte wie eine Irre am, im und rund ums Meer!

Nachmittags gab es noch ein wenig Programm. Der Schiffsfriedhof von Magouer ist einsich stetig verändertes Kunstwerk, Bei Google sieht man die unterschiedlichen Bemaltungen der Schiffswracks über die Jahre. Da die Bretonen glauben, dass Schiffe eine Seele haben, werden diese nicht verschrottet. Sie verfallen über die Jahre, über 140 Friedhöfe dieser Art gibt es in der Bretagne.

In gleißender Hitze machten wir uns auf zu unserem letzten Ziel in der Ria Etel, ja sogar in der Bretagne…..der Weiler Saint Cado inkl. Austernwächterhäuschen. Leider waren mit uns gefühlt drei Reisebusse an Rentner auf dem kleinen Inselchen, was den Spaß ein wenig trübte….die über 30 Grad auf unseren Köpfen übrigens auch! Das Ebbe war und das Erlebnis Saint Cado ebenfalls noch schmälerte, muss ich nicht erwähnen?!

Und hier kommt wieder eines DER Ziele in der Bretagne, das Austernwächterhäuschen!

Auf dem Inselchen Saint Cado ging es, bis auf die drei Rentnerbusse, gemütlich zu:

Die brütende Hitze lud nicht zum Verweilen ein, wir zogen uns lieber wieder auf den Campingplatz zurück und genossen den ersten, richtigen Sommerabend mit den letzten Muscheln in diesem Urlaub.
