<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Auch der zweite Tag unseres Adventswochenende ist , zumindest bzgl. des Vormittagsprogramm schnell erzählt: Frühstück und Besuch im Krankenhaus.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Im Anschluss ging es in die Eifel, genauer gesagt ins bezaubernde Monschau.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Monschau hieß bis 1918 Montjoie und wurde durch den Kaiser Wilhelm eingedeutscht, die belgische Grenze ist nicht weit. Die mittelalterliche Altstadt im Kessel des Flusses Rur ist für sein Fachwerk, den engen Straßen, tuffigen Hotels UND einem der schönsten Weihnachtsmärkte bekannt.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Die Burg Monschau wurde von den Limburger Erbischhöfen im 13.Jh. errichtet, heute befindet sich eine Jugendherberge im Gemäuer und ein Theater verwöhnt in den Sommermonaten.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Wir parkten außerhalb des Nestes auf einen P+R und fuhren für 6€ return mit dem Shuttelebus zum Eingang der Altstadt.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Von dort zog es uns erstmal zur Aussicht, da es bereits nach 15:00 Uhr war und das Tageslicht zur Neige ging.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Wir waren zufrieden, das es so mild war, bei Schnee und Eis ware der Weg lebensgefährlich.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Der Blick aufs Puppige Nest begeisterte und machte den Kopf für das Weihnachtsmarktgetümmel frei…..relaxt durch die Menschenmassen aus F, NL, B und D.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Wir schlenderten durch die engen Straßen und hatten das Gefühl von Ort und Zeit verloren. Die Hotels alle tuffig, 160€ pro Nacht mit Klo auf dem Gang. Man wähnte förmlich Conny Froboes, Peter Alexander und Lilo Pulver in den Hauptrollen.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Wir waren uns einig, mehr Atmosphäre versprüht Monschau noch bei Tageslicht, weil die Häuser einfach bildschön sind. Zurück gings mit dem Shuttlebus</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Zufrieden mit unserem Tag verbrachten wir den Abend in Eschweiler, bei Kölsch, Sekt und Pizza. Gegen 22:30 fielen wir in unserem BP ins kuschelige Bettchen.</p>
