Worten beschrieben werden kann: Orange Beach Club, Hamburger zum Mittag, Muscheln am Abend…..und dann wurden wir noch zu Verwaltern des Emily Fanclub Ksamil e.V.

Der zweite Morgen startete wieder mit einem guten Frühstück und einem frühen Umzug zum Beachclub. Emily freute sich schon wenn es Richtung Meer ging, der Beach Club freute sich auch Emily. Nie, in keinem anderen Land hatte Emily eine größere Fangemeinde. Unsere Kleine wurde erstmal bespielt, bis sie müde wurde.

Ohne Mittagessen ging in Ksamil nichts..

Am Nachmittag relaxten wir ein wenig auf dem Zimmer und ich googelte den richtigen Satz und belästigte die KI „dürfen Hunde nach Butrint“…..long story short, es machten sich zwei Zweibeiner und eine kleine vierbeinige Lady zum Weltkulturerbe, yes!!!!

Wo am Tag vorher, um 11:00 Uhr , das blanke Chaos herrschte gegen 16:50 Uhr freie Parkplatzwahl!

Kommen wir zu Butrint:  ist eine der bedeutendsten archäologischen Stätten Albaniens und liegt nur wenige Kilometer von der Küstenstadt Ksamil emtfernt Die Geschichte der antiken Stadt reicht über 2.500 Jahre zurück. Im Laufe der Zeit wurde Butrint von Griechen, Römern, Byzantinern, Venezianern und Osmanen geprägt.

Heute können Besucher gut erhaltene Ruinen wie das antike Theater, das Baptisterium und die Stadtmauern besichtigen. Die Anlage liegt inmitten eines Naturparks mit Lagunen und dichter Vegetation, was den besonderen Reiz des Ortes ausmacht.

Seit 1992 gehört Butrint zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe und zählt zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten Albaniens.

Der wertvolle Boden des Babtisteriums wird zum Schutz mit Sand bedeckt und ist nur zu bestimmten Anlässen sichtbar. Für uns war die Taufstelle also nur halb so schön.

Tief beeindruckt kehrten wir an diesem Abend nochmals in der Fish Tavern ein, Muscheln und Brasse.

Ein bissel wehmütig starteten wir in unseren letzten Tag in Ksamil, läutete dieser auch so langsam den Abschied aus Albanien ein.

Ein Highlight hatten wir uns aber noch aufgehoben….Tretboot, fast bis nach Korfu. Wir mieteten uns eins für eine Stunden und traten uns durch die Bucht, um die Inselchen herum, grüßten den Dorfpolizisten auf dem Wasser. Andere Boote grüßten mit „hello Emily“….der Hund ist eine Lokalberühmtheit, unglaublich.

Wir verbrachten den Tag im Beachclub und ließen die Fangemeinde an Emily vorbei ziehen…. O- Ton vom Animateur „Ihr habt gute Vibes in den Club gebracht“

Wir verbrachten den letzten Abend im „ The Mussel House“, genossen nochmal hervorragende Muscheln und Linguine und sagten adieu mit einem grandiosen Sonnenuntergang.
