<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Die kurze Strecke bis Korçë fand mit einem einchecken um 11:00 Uhr seinen Höhepunkt. Das bislang schickste Zimmer erwartete uns.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Wir freuten uns und zogen dennoch schnell Richtung Innenstadt von dannen. Korçë ist eine gemütliche Kleinstadt, schnell erlaufbar…..ich nehme es vorweg, um 14:00 Uhr waren wir mit Sightseeing durch.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Unser erstes Ziel war die Auferstehungskathedrale, ein Neubau von 1995….wir verzichteten auf die Besichtigung von innen.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dennoch ist der Bau beeindruckend, vom dort kann man die gesamte Fußgängerzone Bulevardi Shën Gjergji einsehen.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In der Fussgängerzone befindet sich nicht nur Shops, Restaurants und Cafés sondern auch die erste albanische Schule.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Am Ende  der Fußgängerzone steht RED, die Aussichtsplattform, ein paar Hotels und  das Theater.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Viel los war nicht, obwohl Bayram/ Opferfest war….die Albaner lassen sowohl Kirche wie Moschee im Dorf.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Das absolute Hightlight von Korçë, ist der alte osmanische Basar, der wunderschön restauriert worden ist. Viele Bars und Cafés warten auf Kundschaft.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Auch wir wurden fündig und genossen ein spätes Frühstück/ Lunch….Byrek mit Raki und Banane..Suff und Banane stammten vom Wirt. Wieder so ein lieber Mensch, der uns einfach etwas Gutes antun wollte…..ich glaube gastfreundlichere Menschen habe ich nur im Iran erlebt.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Aufgrund von Bier und Raki musste unbedingt ein Boxenstop her…..so kamen wir in den Genuss unseres Zimmers.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Doch ganz am Ende bin ich mit Korçë noch nicht. Wir hielten uns an dem Tip unseres Wirtes und zogen am späten Nachmittag los zur Brauerei Korça, Albaniens älteste Brauerei von 1928. Neben dem Werksgelànde steht ein echter Biergarten mit gutem Essen. Somit kamen wir nochmal in den Genuss von Korça und grundsolidem Abendessen.</p>
