Danzig lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Am besten in der Nebensaison; im Sommer gibt es doch recht viele Touristen, zumal die Stadt auch im Rahmen von einigen Ostseekreuzfahrten angefahren wird.

Auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug zur Marienburg einplanen, die ist wirklich imposant.

Hallo Gabriele, ich schreibe gerade den Bericht über meinen letzten Tag in Breslau….auch da sind wir nochmal auf Zwergejagd gegangen. Ich kenne PL auch nicht so gut, komme auf Stettin, Krakau, Breslau und ein paar Tage Niederschlesien/ Bad Flinsberg. Werde wohl im nächsten Jahr mal nach Danzig und in die Masuren. PL eignet sich super mit eigenem Wagen und Hund.

War selbst vor knapp 30 Jahren da und einigermassen erschüttert vom faden Grau und dem runtergekommenen Stadtbild. In Erinnerung geblieben sind mir die Jahrtausendhalle mit dem sensationellen Raumklang und diese eine breite „Allee“ quer durch die Stadt, die den Generälen des OK Heeresleitung Ost als Landebahn diente.
Dagegen ist das jetzt schon ein buntes Schmuckstück zum unbedingten (wieder-) Besuchen.
